Some 60 members of the Hold El Dorado Accountable Coalition held an informational picket in front of the County Board of Supervisors offices in Placerville during lunch on Nov. 7. Coalition members handed out flyers, and held picket signs to passersby to alert the community about the Board’s irresponsible actions to give automatic raises to only the most highly paid county officials, while leaving thousands of El Dorado County workers without a contract for more than a year.
